Mitch Rioveros is a certified professional counselor with 13 years of expertise in counseling and psychotherapy. In her private practice, Mitch treats a wide variety of clients from different cultural backgrounds, addressing issues like childhood trauma, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, burnout, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to her clinical work, she has spent the last eight years actively involved in academics, helping to shape the next generation of psychologists and counselors.
As a committed educator, Mitch has led countless training sessions and workshops on maintaining good mental health in a variety of settings, including schools and businesses. In fact, she is currently a consultant to one foundation where she also provides psychotherapy sessions.
She also provides psychological services to underprivileged communities where mental health resources are scarce. As someone who believes that assisting others requires lifelong learning, Mitch is now completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology degree.
